I'm with you Katie, the other hosts disagree though.

Am I alone in thinking Cochran/Vytas are one of the most interesting power couples of all time? y/y?

I'm seeing a lot of "they wouldn't do what I wanted them to do so they are dumb" posts in Ponderosa mixed with "they wrote short PMs so they are stupid" style ones and both of those kinda posts make my ears fill with blood and my eyes throb in pain when I'm reading them. No credit for Vytas for scoring himself TWO IMMUNITY IDOLS solving some freaking hard puzzles to do so (I know cos you can see the thread in my Limici confessional showing the amount of work that went into finding one) is just kinda repulsive to me from the jury.

People don't like it when idols actually have an impact on the game *shrug* makes ya feel robbed :P Better players can look past that saving grace to the effort put into finding it or the way in which it was used. Others just stay upset. Vytas is one of the only people who made a real effort to even find the idols (that we could see) so it's kind of silly to then be mad at him for having them or using them for his own benefit. :P

Don't want them to have the idol? Get it before they do. If they get it before you? They earned it.

Agreed, plus we made a concerted effort this season to make the idols very hard to find. For that exact reason, so that the people who got them earned them.

I am coming around on Vytas a little. Early game I would have loved to see him do well but since the middle of it he's become Cochran and is having things work out despite himself instead of because of it. Marissa or Semhar would be way more satisfying winners to me. As of last night, Marissa > Sem >> Vytas >>>>> Cochran > the other two, would be my satisfaction rating. So of course that means Sem & Vytas will leave next.

Man, those idol clues were SO, SO difficult. I literally spent an entire afternoon chained to my desk in the office working on mine to get it and EVEN THEN it was more of a random stab in the dark than an actual "a-ha!" moment like I knew for sure. I guess this goes to show that the make-up of a jury CAN alter dramatically depending on the players who make the jury because I found Vytas to be a solid, no-nonsense type of ally and I may not be aware of how little or how much I may have factored into his long-term plans but I appreciate alliances where the members aren't incredibly high maintenance and need constant reaffirmation and found that in Vytas early in the game. He would be getting my vote to win if I were a jury member this year simply for being a player who wasn't afraid to stand out and mix it up a bit and actually play the game LOOKING LIKE he wants to win it.

You didn't win immunity - that's not their fault
You didn't find the idol - that's not their fault
You used your immunity talisman already - that's not their fault
You made yourself too clearly a front-runner by making your moves and eliminating bigger threats too early in the merge - that's not their fault
They took advantage off all of the above - THAT IS YOUR FAULT
