You were incredible in this. You are such a larger than life character and it's so fun to watch. You along with Vytas/Cochran really shaped the entire season and that's saying something. Watching you as an underdog and then scraping by Bracari only to come into the merge and really start taking control of things around the time you were booted was awesome. You didn't take shit from anyone and you certainly played this game to its fullest and that's really the goal I think. You held your own against all of the veterans and really outshined them in a lot of ways. Congratulations and welcome to the family!

I think it was around the Kim P elimination that I first took notice of how perfectly poised you were to stay in the shadows and then just emerge as this amazing Stranded Queen <3 and that's exactly what you did. You were so damn likeable and hilarious and fierce... you brought it in a big way for this season. Unfortunately, you fell victim to "take out the big threats!" and then you were axed right after. Always a painful mistake to see people make. You played the shadow threat game so well and for so long that most of us really thought you would pull off the win, and seeing it all come crashing down was tragic. Amazing game, Marissa!

Okay so you know I love you. Truth is you were pretty much off my radar most of the game because I am a lazy bitch who doesn't like reading PMs. Your confessionals were decent but not riveting so you were always just ~there~ When all of my favourites started leaving one after the other I started noticing the other big players, and boy did you smack me in the fucking face!

I think every host is going to say the same for you, and it's all deserved. You were a star for sure in this game. In the pre-merge you were nothing that spectacular at all, but then merge hit and you were WOW. You were my winner pick in the Alumni section, and for a while I thought you really had a chance to win and so I was so excited for you. But once again, someone was robbed and I think you were one of the most robbed for sure in the merge. Had you been in the Final 2, I think you would have swept every single vote and you would be considered as one of the best winners ever.

icon_wub I was so ecstatic when I saw you were in the cast list for this game. I knew you would deliver and you were my most rooted for since Day 1, you did not disappoint. Just everything about you was perfect, I can't point out any flaws. Star of the season for sure, shame these jealous bitches didn't just step out of the way and let you win. Fuck all of you.

I was fucking around with Poody and was like if you had to compare someone to me in this cast whom would it be? He said you... like lol. I am a legend. Do you not fucking get this? DO YOU NOT? That is a huge compliment <3 rofl. Take it how you will.

Fab goddess <3 I was hella excited to see you in this cause we just played Music Wars together before this where we owned (sorta lol) and you delivered just like I knew you would. :D I was nervous of your position after the swap but you managed to scramble to the merge. Then screwed by Cochran/Vytas and the idol. </3 You were a pleasure to host! Can't wait to come across you in more games. :)

Brenda award for Best New Player. See how I say the nicest thing first? Because there were times here I didn't like your game. Like I said to Laura schticks don't really translate well to Stranded and that turned me off at first (I swear, if I read somethingsomething was so hype!! one more time.. (edit: Frank tells me this wasn't even schtick, way to make me feel odl ) ) Don't get me wrong, put me in another series and I'll do a character portrayal like you wouldn't believe (I got an award one time :) ) but in Stranded and with so many first-time players, they just fall flat or people don't understand. And the black rep therefore I'm ghetto schtick is the most overdone of all. So I hated that. And then you were the sole voice wanting to keep the promising Ciera over the definitely-screwed Brad and if you'd really wanted, you could have pulled that off but you kind of just stepped back and said not worth the hassle so I hated that too :/

But then slowly and surely I started to appreciate your game. I got used to the schtick over time (though still not mad about it to this day). The allowing of Ciera to be cut was just the first step in a long run of impressive defensive play on Bracarix2. I had you pegged as the shuffle boot but solid play and manuvering forced the vets to eat themselves instead. And then there was a boy's foursome forming and again, it wasn't just luck that had that come to shreds (okay there was some luck lol) but you sticking your social oar in at the right places at the right times. Meanwhile yours and Ibe's duo was the sole talisman partnership that really bloomed into a fully fledged cross-tribal arrangement where you two looked like legitimately bonding (Coch & Katie's was close, but not quite) which became hugely important when Ibe had to break the tie and I think was his #1 reason more than anything. Marissa likes and is safer with Vytas - boot Peter. And even then when it's you with the three boys and I'm expecting there's a chance Vytas and Coch will scoop up John and leave you in the dust and not only do you avoid that, but you also at that point had Cochran closer to you too and I believe he would have chopped Vytas to keep you in. Mama Marissa & Papa Coch <3 You were the normal one on that tribe by the end. Vytas did a thing at one point where he compared his game to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and I was cackling at the thought of you as Nurse Ratchet medicating the crazies

Post merge you were pivotal and the #1 threat for a while. Gurrrrl you don't own half the moves you claim in Jury house though, and I will say this now so I don't finish on a sour note, parts of your Juror game irked the hell out of me. It's easy for me to say having seen everything, and if anything, getting you out was a great move organized by Cochran & Vytas, and a poorly-timed and unnecessary vote by Ibe who just jumped on five minutes before TC. Yet with the pile-on being in fashion last night, Ibe could do no wrong and Cochran was awful at everything Lol I'm rambling. This is not the time or place. I don't mind a good bitter juror, but at least be bitter at both.

Anyway post-merge you became a threat, and slowly but surely worked your way from defensive specialist pre-merge to wearing the pants of the power trio and calling the shots. Clutch immunity wins at the right time but that damn idol and phoning it in that night killed you in the end. Maybe I should have kept the Brenda award for Best New Player for the end to finish on a real high Because you were hella impressive here. There's just no-one even close for mixing all the elements of Stranded. Another double-dipper (for shame!) but at least you kept your focus in the right place. It showed. Marissa is a rising star for sure.

Every season there seems to be a character that makes a name for themselves out of purely being a good strategist/game player. They aren't the largest characters, but their game speaks for itself and makes them epic. Paloma, Gina, Lindsey, Ami all come to mind. I think this season that's you. You played a phenomenal strategic game. I think in particular the merge was where you shined. It's why we brought you back. We badly wanted to see you there last season and you weren't. You finally got your chance and you proved your worth. I would say if you get invited back to play like you did in the early merge throughout the entire game. You were in danger early on in the game and I think that couldve been avoided had you been as aggressive as you were there. You'll find that you had a large cult following in the hosts and I'm happy for you <3

Not nice with a side of rice <3 I enjoyed the hell out of you this season, partly because I ACTUALLY got to watch you rather than read a few snippets of your snarky blog comments, and partly because you really fought for it and worked your way through some tough obstacles to become the last big threat to win to take the fall. After Hayden left, you wurked it and finagled your way through the merge like nothing I've ever seen before. For lessons on how to play the UTR game while simultaneously making people like you enough so that they respect you and want to give you the win, players should consult Sembaby. <3 Your second chance was well-deserved and you made a great use of it to become an all star in my eyes <3

I had a great feeling about you during the casting phase and I had a great feeling about you playing and I was really happy when you brought it like you did! You came so close to the 4th place club too (and let's be real, you're more deserving of it than Vytas who was kind of a sack of shit, sorry not sorry)

Last Namibian standing Last Woman standing You were spectacular in this game just like most of the women, and I loved how UTR you were yet STILL very polarizing to watch. You laid out a plan for practically each round, and even if they didn't necessarily worked I definitely loved it. Brilliant mind, and a sassy personality. That's like the perfect combo, so thank you for being such a tremendous player in this season and thank you for giving me someone to root for to win when it was just boys remaining

You...existed? I don't know but I would always seem to forget you were there, not that you weren't active cause you were, you just had this invisibility cloak. I remember when nobody was targetting you in that coconut chop numbers challenge and it was quite the UTR showing. Much better showing this time.

I think you invented the one sentence PMs in Strandedverse for now rofl but you were fun. I just needed more moves from you. jk. You did amazing with what you had and I rooted for you during the Marissa vs. Semhar segments <3

Sem <3 I was so excited to see you in this! Nama cruelly robbed you of the merge in Namibia and we never really spoke or anything before. After seeing you play I wish you'd survived over Whitney at that last pre-merge vote. You're so much better than her. :/ You were kind of UTR and had a good sense of strategy, I'm not really sure how much of that you were actually able to execute but you ended up being a pretty big threat to win. Congrats on Final 5 and being the last female standing! I think you surprised yourself. :)

It took me two full games to figure out exactly why you appeal to me so much. I think it is mostly that you call it as you see it and have a great awareness of what to do at any given time. But you don't let bluntness get in the way of your game and keep that part hidden away to your confessional. The mask between private Semhar and public Semhar is always impressively kept up. Some people mightn't even know you have a bitingly sarcastic side because they are swept away by your easy-going non-threatening social public face.

In this game in particular you did have a slow start and kind of didn't get super tight with anyone apart from Hayden for maybe the whole game? I will say I think abandoning the Old Limici ties in favour of Tapoli's (who had already burned you) was a mistake. It's easy to say looking back, but you as the least threatening member behind all of Becky/Coby/Ralph would have merited keeping them around for a little while longer as buffers. I think maybe you underestimated how much power you actually had at merge as a free agent? Meaning by the time you really started coming into your own at Final Eight or so you were playing from a position where you stood out as an obvious threat. I mean, you bashed some people for taking out all the threats early, but you kind of went along with it too when you didn't really have to..

Still, a great game well-played. Your awareness (except for that last round derp) is superb and you know how to not get too tight with any one person while being friends to all - which is a rare and underappreciated skill in these things. The key to one very specialist brand of winning in fact That in turn allows you to set yourself up to be where you need to be. Now if only you could figure out how to win a few challenges you'd become a real powerhouse in these things

Most players won't see it this way, but you really were the biggest character and focal point of the entire season. Your friendship and alliance with Cochran is the stuff of legends. You two had almost a brotherly relationship that was extremely competitive, sometimes love/hate. I would compare it to you being the older brother who is experienced and confident and successful and Cochran kind of being your little brother that was looking up to you and wanted to beat you so badly. To see you just forgive him time and time again after he betrayed you was a lot like a brother/brother relationship. Either way it was the most compelling story of the season for sure and you two really TORE UP this game in a way that was extermely entertaining. Watching you go to almost every pre-merge Tribal Council and almost never be at risk (except when Cochran was targetting you) was amazing. We had no choice but to focus on you and you commanded our attention. It was really amazing watching you go through the game with such a huge personality and really leaving very little on the floor, you gave us your all and I thank you for that.

I loved you in this because you always had your hand in the cookie jar and you were always at the center of everything. I think it's also worth nothing that you DID in fact just come here to play and have fun, and I don't think you were really ever going for the win? Maybe I'm wrong but you played this game to be a heavy hitter more than to win, and I respect that. Sure, you pissed almost everyone off, but yeah. I will say, like I've already told you, that the "no female winner" thing was gross and stupid, and I really hope that you undermining that it was your real motivator in a lot of votes is true, because if not, it's pretty lame. Idk.

How do I feel about you? To be perfectly honest, I hated you in this game. I hate that you are joining the 4th place club with a game like the heap of shit you served up. I felt like you didn't take it seriously a lot of the time, and this is my favourite series so it gave me the shits every time you took the piss. Dropped out of challenges, made a poor effort in communicating with people especially come the merge, turned yourself into a massive goat and then to top it off acted like you'd almost played that way on purpose.

I actually didn't HATE you in this like some of the others in Ponderosa seemed to have. I mean sure, you were disgusting and your social game was terrible just like it was the last time I've seen you, but you were fun to watch and you made the game interesting. You were fantastic at challenges and also at finding idols, but I think you were too dead set on "get the girls out" to see the big picture. The big picture was that you needed to increase your social game in order to win the game, NOT get rid of girls. The second all the girls left, you were left with three people who were better in the jury's eyes than you. The most hilarious thing about you in the game was that you would be in 16th place had Cochran not been a dumbass and voted in the wrong thread :p

Oh god. So we got to this. I have to write something about you. What the fuck were you on this game? Crack? I wanted to slap the fuck out of you and it was really hard not to say anything and scream at you a bit so I don't influence the game. You kept bitching about the timezone while you were one of the most active people which was annoying, like fuck off, you invested time, you had time to PM PROPERLY. Seriously if you only didn't have the social game of a mollusk you could have done so much better maybe even won? What the fuck is the point to have random breakdowns at Caryn, at Becky and at whoever. I get having shitty tribe members in challenges but suck it up and vote them the fuck out. And we get to the most frustrating part about you: you sticking to Cochran despite every sign in the world telling you NOT TO. The guy was a mess, you was lying to you at Bracari in a really transparent and cringe-worthy way. If anything, that "I voted in the wrong thread" thing should have been your signal to abandon that sinking ship. But no, you stick to Cochran and basically give him the win on a silver platter by acting like a dickhead all the time and making everyone hate you. Luckily he threw you away because he kept obsessing over you being a threat for 3 weeks that he was too blind to realize you were his only hope to win. You were attached to Cochran like you were to me in Euro, but Cochran wasn't me...Cochran was unstable, while I would have taken you to the end no matter what. Stop being so blindingly loyal and play the field. I feel responsible for the male winner thing, because you found that out from me like 2 seasons of Stranded ago, but you really forced that. I'm oking it because the women you voted out were legit gonna destroy you in FTC so you had good reason. I'll give you props for finding those idols, nobody else cared that much, it's a shame you didn't have the same dedication in your social game and decided to tank it.

You were fucking AMAZING. I love you that much. I'm usually hard to impress in games 'cause people are just meh sometimes :\ but you delivered hard. I loved you.

My Stranded King <3 You know how much I love you. I've seen you play in all three of your games and you've been a God each and every time. People need to take you a bit less seriously and embrace your sense of humour. :D In terms of your game you were kind of a train wreck but the dynamic with you/Cochran was fascinating. I expected more challenge dominance from you but these ones tend to require less skill than the Aus Stranded ones that you owned. Plus the tz difference was hell. But jsyk you were amaze and fab. <3 Ignore the haters. NEVER CHANGE BABE <3

Let me just get this out there first; I knew you would be good but I didn't expect you to be this.. cuckoo crazy? You have some kind of obsessive compulsive psychosis for reals But it was sooo fun to watch you break down and try to build back up then go off on a new tangent at the slightest provocation. I think the entire pre-merge was pretty much the Vytas show. You definitely took a tumble come merge as you seemed to try to go a bit UTR to hold onto your idol and had your RL stuff getting in the way too. And keep that idol you did, that was impressive even if it was the next one that actually worked out into something tangible.

What else, you had some of the best 1-on-1s in the game. You and Cochran obviously, but you and Becky and you and Caryn were both respectively hilarious to watch unfold. Nothing wrong with being blunt. It'll hurt your game for sure but it's worth watching. You and Katie too Everyone points to Coby & Cochran & Caryn & Becky but I think her leaving hit your game hardest of all. You two were so good together on OG Bracari.

You're still crazy though. ORGing drunk at 5 and 6am will do that to you.
