Come on in guys! (I've always wanted to say that, lol icon_wub )

Since we've got a bit of downtime to play with and our first big challenge up ahead, I thought it might be good for us to get our brains warmed up and to also get familiar with some of the types of challenges we might expect to see soon. I can be fairly adorkable at the best of times when it comes to these sorts of things so practice along with me! Even if it doesn't end up making a massive difference it will be a fun way to pass the time around camp.

Bracari
The Bracari were an ancient Celtic tribe of Gallaecia, akin to the Calaicians or Gallaeci, living in the northwest of modern Portugal, in the province of Minho, between the rivers Tâmega and Cávado, around the area of the modern city of Braga (the Roman Bracara Augusta).

Appian wrote they were a very warlike people. According to him, The Bracari women warriors fought defending their town "never turning, never never showing their backs, or uttering a cry", preferring death to captivity.

It has been long known that they spoke a Celtic language, as can be seen in the inscription dedicated to the goddess Nabia at Braga's Fonte do Ídolo (Portuguese for the Fountain of the Idol), or in the name of their town Tongobriga (in Marco de Canaveses).

At the beginning of the 1st century, the Citânia de Briteiros was their political main hill fort and seat of the "consilium gentis". It is possible that the Celtic Nemetati were an allied tribe of the Bracari, known previously as Kallaikoi.

The goddess Nabia was very popular in the territory of the Callaici Bracari with several inscriptions, like the one at Braga's Fonte do Ídolo (Portuguese for Fountain of the Idol).

Limici
The Limici were an ancient Celtic tribe of Gallaecia, living in the swamps of the river Lima, in the border region between Minho (Portugal) and Galicia (Spain).

Make sure y'all know how to post an image. It's easy once you know how, but here is a guide jic; viewtopic.php?p=23#p23

This will absolutely appear at some point in the game so practice being able to do it, and being able to do it quickly and under pressure.

Also we do like to lol at your screw-ups as you learn it :P

K so I got like 2 minuets on the easy one and ten on the harder one. Honestly I'd say that's pretty good for being dead tired and all icon_laughing

Anyway I'll try to do the image thingy later in the morning when it isn't 2 in the fucking morning and shit.
